Dotmar has been manufacturing and supplying customised PTFE coated glass fabric belts for well over 30 years, within a company that has nearly 60 years of engineering plastics and conveyor expertise. Dotmar’s Victorian facility functions as a conveyor solutions and belt fabrication centre which allows for local belt fabrication, fast turnaround, direct quality control, application-specific customisation and direct technical consultation with engineers. 

Together, Dotmar and Taconic provide PTFE coated glass fabric belts engineered for excellent release properties, dimensional stability, temperature resistance, and long service life. Taconic’s precision manufactured belt materials are further enhanced by Dotmar’s local belt manufacturing and Tactape™ custom slitting, ensuring every belt is matched precisely to its operating environment.

Dotmar manufactures a full range of permanent belt joints, all produced using modified, melt processable PTFE as the bonding material. This ensures chemical compatibility, high temperature resistance, and reliable long term performance.

To protect belts from damage and extend service life, Dotmar applies edge reinforcing strips, which are often critical in tracking controlled conveyor systems.

Edge reinforcing materials include:
