Welded Steel Timber Chain (MAC)


MAC welded steel timber chains are used in forestry and timber industries. They differ from flat top chains in that they do not have the flat, low friction top surface and are generally for heavy outdoor applications.

Many of these chains are available with attachments, which are special chain links added into the chain to allow attachments to be bolted to the chain.

Welded Steel Timber Chain Product Range:

Welded steel timber chain is recommended for most conveyor and elevating applications in which a strong steel rollerless chain is needed. A full range of attachments and optional heat treatment, make them easily adaptable to a wide variety of applications and industries.

   
 

All chain with 1” and 1 1/8” rivets are made with precision taper fit rivets (see detail A above). These rivets are better in design compared with traditional rivets. When the rivet is pressed into the link, it provides complete contact between the rivet and the sidebar, decreasing wear and improving chain life.
