Truck Bed Liners

Matrox® is a continuous length, seamless liner made from a high tech Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMWPE) polymer compound. This ultra slippery surface promotes mass flow and complete load release from the tippers at a lower angle of discharge.

The frustrating and dangerous problem of load hang-up is a safety and time issue for tipper operators with the potential to create serious and dangerous workplace incidents. Many types of tipper loads tend to cling to tub floors and sides when the hoist is fully extended which can create potential for the entire unit to fall onto its side. While that result is certainly an unfortunate worst case, most tipper operators have spent many an hour shovelling out hung loads and cleaning residues from tubs after discharge.

Matrox® is a continuous length, seamless liner made from a high tech Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMWPE) polymer compound. This ultra slippery surface promotes mass flow and complete load release from the tippers at a lower angle of discharge. This in turn prolongs hoist life as well as promoting considerable time savings due to the elimination of the need to wash out the body particularly when changing from one type of load to another.

Additionally, the Matrox® truck liner protects the tub floor and the super slippery and robust surface out-performs both steel (by a ratio of 2:1) and aluminium (by a ratio of 4:1) in terms of field wear. This makes the Matrox® liner the perfect alternative to replacing worn tipper floors. In most applications, a Matrox® liner will see out the life of the body. In situations where re-sale is contemplated, sale price is enhanced through a floor that is just as it was when the liner was installed, Proven over many years in North America (where thousands of liners have been installed), Matrox® is the perfect truck tipper liner for gravel, clay, sand, soil, aggregate & and can also withstand hot asphalt (up to 176 degrees C, for short periods)

Matrox® liners have a simple installation technique. They are cut to size, scored to accommodate the tub radius and then bolted into the floor. Special leading edge protectors are then fixed to the tub walls and the job is complete. The compound is 1/3rd the weight of aluminium, 1/8th of the weight of steel.
