Uniboard - Replace that rotten timber sheet
Uniboard, Dotmar’s timber sheet alternative, has positioned itself in the Australian market as a real substitute of plywood, marine ply, MDF and laminates. During 2010 Dotmar launched an expanded colour range of the Uniboard sheet product to include:
• Ocean Blue • Siren • Overcast • Gum Green
These new Uniboard colours of course are in addition to our traditional and proven black Uniboard.
Plato (Greek philosopher) once said “Necessity is the Mother of Invention”. The introduction of Uniboard colours was driven by a smarter end user looking for longer lifecycles of product with reduced maintenance costs.
Applications to date have come from numerous industries and market segments. For example: Uniboard Overcast has been used in horse round yards replacing plywood. Uniboard Siren has been put to the test in commercial boarding kennels and catteries. Ocean Blue has brought vibrant colours to the shop fitting market.
Other applications for Uniboard have been in stage flooring, marina construction, animal husbandry such as chicken hatcheries and horse stable partitioning.
Uniboard with it’s long list of benefits, such as screw retention, UV stability, machinability and rot resistance is forging a timber sheet alternative path were plastic sheet has never been.
