Polystone
500 and Polystone
7000 are two of the
specialised polyethylenes with far
ranging applications,
in particular today’s food
preparation, packaging, bottling
and conveying industries.
Their unique combination of properties
makes them a desirable alternative
to wood and metal, especially where
impact, chemical resistance, moisture
or weight is a problem.
Polystone 500
exhibits excellent mechanical properties
supported by rigidity and creep
resistance; being unbreakable,
and self lubricated it is ideal
for cutting boards, gears, cogs,
wheels and guides required by the
food industry.

Polystone
500 is light
weight (1/8 of steel), has
a broad chemical
resistance, combined with water
repellence minimizing the risk
of bacterial and fungal growth.
The ability to be washed with
clean hot water without rotting
or corrosion
and its kindness to knives makes
Polystone 500 an ideal food preparation
surface that long outperforms
wood and other materials traditionally
used in this area. Polystone
500
is available in natural white
in sheets 2m x 1m from 1mm
to
100mm ex stock.
Polystone
7000 adds another
dimension with its excellent
wear and sliding
abrasion resistance, partnered
with extremely low coefficient
of friction resulting in highly
efficient packaging machine components
such as star-wheels, guides and
feeds. High speed lines handling
printed cans or intricate designed
labels are safe from scratching
when in contact with Polystone
7000. Noise and impact vibration
are greatly reduced due to
the molecular
structure, plus the self lubrication
properties make Polystone 7000
an ideal choice for today’s
packaging, bottling and conveying
industries. Polystone 7000 is available
in natural white in rods 10mm to
250mm diameter and sheets 2m x
1m from
1mm to 100mm. Other sizes are available.
