Dotmar’s Chemfab series
of PTFE coated fabrics and conveyor belts have properties so
enduring that the list of uses now reaches virtually every process
industry.
Specifically developed for low friction, easy
release, non-stick and heat-sealing operations, Chemfab fabrics
and conveyor belts are used in process systems of industries
including chemical processing, electrical, food processing,
baking, screen printing, packaging, aerospace and defence.
The reliability, stability and total non-toxicity
of Chemfab coated fabrics is best illustrated by applications
within the hygiene-intensive food industry, in which it meets
all applicable regulations and control, and sustains lengthy
periods of use.

Chemfab Properties
• Resistant to most chemicals
• Non stick
• High dielectric strength
• Temperature range:
–150°C to +260°C
• Dimensionally stable
• Electrical insulator
• Outstanding fire resistance
• Low shrinkage

Chemfab can be used safely with microwave,
radio frequency, ultra violet and infrared techniques, including
cryogenic cooling.
Chemfab is lightweight resulting in less power consumption,
its advanced heat transfer properties enable lower levels
of energy absorption than conventional materials, and low
surface static allows easy release for better product quality.

PTFE coated fabrics are available in the standard
width of 1000mm in rolls 30m long, and in a range of thicknesses
and weaves to suit particular applications. Coated fabrics are
available either plain (non-adhesive) with a temperature range
–150°C to +260°C, or adhesive backed in self-wound
rolls or with interliners. Temperature range is –50°C
to +260°C.
Fabrics are also available in black, conductive
grades for static dissipation, and for use in UV-resistant applications.
Specialty PTFE heat sealer and zone tapes for
the packaging industry are available in conductive and plain
grades.
